A day in the life of a Cattle Rancher

The days start early on the Heinze Angus Ranch. It is up at 6am and grab a cup of coffee and then out to feed the animals. It has been a cold winter in Abilene, Texas this year. So the mornings have been cold and sometimes the water trough pipes are froze. So the first thing to do is thaw out pipes and break the ice in the troughs so the cows and horses can drink.

The Registered Black Angus cattle they raise are their livelihood so they must be taken care of like a prize possession. Donny and Janice take great care of their animals.

While Donny is out working on the frozen pipes, Janice is feeding the horses, the Texas Long Horn Steers that she trains and the dogs. Then they work together to put out hay bails and bags of feed for the Angus cattle. First they have to feed the young bulls and then the mama cows and then the heifers.

It has snowed several times this year in Texas and several mornings Donny couldn�t drive his truck up the mountain to feed the 50 or so bred cows on top of the mountain. So they have to get the tractor and push the truck up the mountain so the cows can be fed and the water troughs checked.

Then it is back down the hill and all the animals are fed. Now it is off to get another trailer load of round hay bails from about 60 miles away. When he returns, he then must unload hay and then notices he has two cows that are ready to be bred so he must go and AI those cows. As you can see it is quite busy on the ranch.

There is also the times cattle have to be moved from one pasture to another. Then calves have to be vaccinated and tagged.

Many days, lunch time comes and goes without notice. They eat when they are finished sometimes after dark. When the day is over and then it is time for a good meal and they fall asleep on the couch as they are so tired. The next morning will come early with much to do.

Black Angus Cattle

Donny and Janice Heinze of the Heinze Angus Ranch are raising some of the best registered Black Angus Cattle in Texas. Their ranch is located in Tuscola, Texas south of Abiline.

The Black Angus cattle that we see today originated from four Scottish bulls that were brought to Victoria, Kansas. A man named George Grant in the late 1800s is thought to have brought these unique bulls to Kansas. Though we don't know the exact herd from which these black bulls originated, it's generally assumed that they're from George Brown's farm in Westertown, Fochabers, Scotland. Eventually they have become one of the most popular breeds in the world.

Black Angus cattle are definitely unique animals when compared with a traditional cow or bull you might see at a farm or pastures across the United States. They're hardy, easy to raise, and can be sold for market after two years.

Donny and Janice are using some of the best Angus sires in the United States to artificially inseminate their herd with. They are all ABS Global Sires. Some of the most famous sires are (Mytty IN Focus AAA 13880818, the industries most popular sire), (Connealy Lead ON AAA 1347282, ranks as one of the top twenty bulls in the industry), (HA Image Maker 0415 AAA, One of ABS' top sellers based on calving ease, growth and female making ability), and (MCC Day Break AAA 14777016, 2008 Angus Sire Alliance Winner )

They also have some of the best Angus Dams in the US. Some of their dams are daughters of QLC LaGrand Forum. He was the 2005-2006 National Champion Black Angus Champion Sire. Some of the other dams are daughters of Gar Predestined, and Bon View New Design 1407.

Woman Long Horn Steer Trainer

Janice Heinze from the Heinze Angus Ranch in Tuscola, Texas has been training long horn steers for people to ride for many years. Many of the steers you see in parades today with people riding them have been trained by Janice.

Janice is one tough lady. She has been riding horses her whole life and was in many barrel racing competitions. She has had horses fall on her and hurt her pretty bad but she got up and kept on riding. She has had steers throw her off and hit her in the head with their long horns but she always comes out on top. Their isn�t anything Janice can�t ride or train. She loves all kinds of animals. She has dogs, horses, cattle, Long Horn Steers, and even a buffalo named Ruby. She said Ruby likes to drink Coke but doesn�t like Dr. Pepper. I must get a video of that one day.

People have sent their Long Horn Steers from all over the U.S to be trained. It is a lot of work. First you have to train them to be led around with a rope, then get use to having a saddle on them and then training them to turn properly. They can be quite stubborn at times but so can Janice.

One steer Janice trained was bought buy a man in Makawau, Maui, Hawaii. He had it shipped to Maui and rides it in the annual 4th of July parade. His name is Emiliano Achaval. He flies Janice and her husband Donny to Maui each summer to get the steer ready for the parade. The steers name is Mafusa. He is the only Long Horn Steer in Hawaii so when he comes walking down the street in the parade, he gets a lot of attention.

Janice and her husband Donny, also raise registered Black Angus Cattle. They are raising some of the highest quality cattle in Texas and the U.S.

We had a wonderful 2009 Christmas here in Dalian. We are well into 2010, and expecting a wonderful year. Not all of the kids were able to make it home for Christmas, but all have returned for the winter holiday!

Sharing Our Faith:

Philemon 5��..Hearing of thy love and thy faith which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

On January 10th the kids began their winter holiday. They all came home from Universities, High School, and Vocational Tech School. They were relieved to have the winter break once again. This year there has been a major change in some of the kid�s lives. They were able to get jobs and work during the two month winter holiday.

They are shinning lights to their co-workers. Most would say here that it is impossible to get a job here, especially with being a student, as many people wouldn�t even consider hiring a student for two months.

Shekinah Joy is working in a factory, which provides dormitory living and one meal a day. There are 7 other girls sharing the dormitory with her. She is working ten � twelve hours a day. The work is hard, and many of the girls are easily discouraged. The dormitory mates comment that Shekinah Joy is fun to be with. They remark that she is always happy and her ring of laughter echoes out into the hallway, causing others to laugh and encouraging them to see the good things in life. Shekinah Joy is sharing her faith with the girls as she continuously has a good attitude and openly expresses her thankfulness to her Heavenly Father.

Gao Yan Ming is working in a local restaurant. He works ten hours a day. He has opportunities to display his honesty, and good character. He is eager to share his faith, and to tell what the Lord has done in his life.

Zhou Meng Sheng is tutoring 7th and 8th grade students. He tutors them in English, Physics and Chemistry. The parents of one of his students remarked about his integrity and work ethics and gave him about 5 pounds of fish. The parents are paying him by the hour, but are also blessing him with extra gifts because of his commitment to teach their children.

Wu Fu Gong is working in a local supermarket. His major in College is English, and he will be taking the Level 6 English test in March when he returns to school. The supermarket hired him to stock shelves. He will be graduating from university this summer and will find a permanent job and start out in life.

All of these kids return to school on March 6th. Their days are long, and the pay is little. They have to work for one month before they receive a pay check. They earn between $.29 and $1.00 an hour. There are many students here who wouldn�t work for those wages, but the kids believe that whatever they put their hands to will prosper.

Teaching English:
During the holiday season here, which is called Spring Festival, (China�s biggest festival of the year,) I have been asked to teach English. It is �Intensive English� which is a three week course. It has opened doors and given me opportunities to share my faith as well with the head of the school and the children.

Spring Festival:
Spring Festival begins on February 13th and lasts for ten days. We will be celebrating the festival together as a family. It�s been traditional for us to wrap jiaozi (a special kind of dumpling) on the Eve of the Festival, and then have a special supper. After supper everyone participates in games and activities, and then settles down to watch the TV specials. At 12:00 midnight the Chinese New Year is brought in with fireworks, along with cooking the jioazi that was previously wrapped. It is traditional to eat the jiaozi shortly after midnight. This is a long time family tradition that has been celebrated throughout history here in this country.

2 Corinthians 9:8-9 says, �And God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that ye always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor: His righteousness remaineth forever.)� Your prayers and financial support is definitely abounding to �every good work!�

Thief returns cell phone.

The thief returns the cell phone!! About two weeks ago, my wife �Joy� was on the bus in Dalian China where we live. The bus was so crowded as it was bitter cold outside. A man stuck his hand in my wife�s purse and stole her cell phone. When she got off the bus and into a store she was going to call one of the Chinese orphans we care for.

We call them our children and they call us grandma and grandpa. We have 13 children altogether. Joy finally noticed her cell phone was gone and knew it was stolen. So she went back to the apartment and one of our girls who is studying to be a nurse, called the house. "Grandma, she said, where have you been, I have been trying to call you". Joy said "someone stole my cell phone on the bus". So Xu Ling ( sounds like Shoe Ling) called Joy�s cell number. A man answered the phone. Xu Ling said "you stole that phone from my grandma; she needs that phone as she cares for 13 children and she needs it". The man hung up.

Xu Ling calls another girl and all the other children. They start calling the man. "That is my grandma�s phone, you must give it back". "She doesn�t have the money for another". Those precious kids pestered that thief until he said, �I will bring it back, it is too much trouble�. That is what he did. That will teach him to steal from Grandma Joy.

Update on China Orphans

New Document THis is Han Xiao and she came to us as a Chinese orphan in 2000 and Has been with us 9 years now.
She is enrolled in a 3year Computer Course, learning computer programming. This is her first year. She has adjusted very well and has found favor with many of her classmates and teachers. She is a very happy girl, and has a heart to help others.

> This is Zhou Li. She was also a China orphan that came to Us in 2000.
Zhou Li and Han Xiao both attend the same school. Zhou Li is in her third year and will graduate in July. Her teachers consider her to be a good example to other girls in her class, as she is very modest, and also loving and kind to all she meets.

YQQ came to us when she was about 8years old. In 2000, China Harvest Ministries opened an orphanage in Dalian China. Both of her parents were dead and she only had an old grandfather who was very poor. So we took her in and have her for nine years now. She is a senior in high school and is studying hard to finish school. After she finishes high school, she will go to a trade school and learn a trade to be able to work.

There are many Ministries working all over China. They are all doing a good job spreading the good news. We are thankful to be one of them.

In September 2000, China Harvest Ministries opened an orphanage in Dalian China. Liu Xian Sheng ( sounds like Leo She-en Shung), was one of 16 children that came to the orphanage. Both of his parents were dead and his relatives could not care for him.

Through the years , LXS has always liked drawing and painting. He studied art vigorously all through middle school and high school. He was the best art student in Dalian Kai Fa Qu. His school even paid for him to go to Beijing twice to study art there for several weeks.

This year he started his first year of university. During this past summer LXS painted all day everyday. We are selling some of his art prints to pay for his tuition and room and board. These pictures can be seen at China Harvest Ministries. Some people are buying two or three of them at a time.

Ministries in China

China Harvest Ministries has been in China since August of 1995. Rev. Rick and Joy Haynes moved to Beijing in 1995 and began studying the Chinese language. In 1997, they moved to the medical university in Shenyang which is the capital of the Liao Ning Province.

In 2000 China Harvest Ministries opened an orphanage in Dalian China with the cooperation of the Chinese Government. Mr. Wang Yong Sheng of Kai Fa Qu received the license for the orphanage and appointed Rick and Joy to be managers. They gathered 16 Chinese orphans and still care for 13 of them today.

There are many ministries operating China today. Some help orphans and others feed the poor and still others bring in medical teams and give free medical clinics.

This is Shekinah Joy.

She is a Chinese orphan that came to the orphanage outside of Dalian, China back in September 2000. She was 6 years old when she came and was very small from being malnourished. Her father died first then she cared for her sick mother. Her mother had cancer and Shekinah would take her mothers cloths to the half frozen river and wash the blood out of them. Her hands and face was like leather from weather exposure.

Her mother died of the cancer and she came to live at the orphanage. Her skin began to heal after many months of good food and skin care. Rick and Joy Haynes, founders of China Harvest Ministries, worked with the government and started the orphanage in Sept. 2000.

Shekinah has always laughed and giggled. Her Chinese name is Han Xiao. It means little laughing one. It sure fits her. She is in the 10th grade now and doing well. Chinese Lantern Festival

The Chinese Lantern Festival

It falls on the 15th day of the first month of the Lunar Year. The Lantern Festival takes place on a full moon, and marks the end of Chinese New Year festivities. The Lantern Festival dates back to shrouded legends of the Han Dynasty over 2000 years ago.

The most popular food for the Chinese Lantern Festival is a kind of sweet dumpling made of glutinous rice or wheat flour. Joy and the kids at the orphanage are making these dumplings for the festival. The Chinese name of this dish is (Yuanxiao)

Where did the festival originate:
We are not sure but there is one legend that the Jade Emperor in Heaven was so angered at a town for killing his favorite goose, that he decided to destroy it with a storm of fire. But, a good fairy heard of this storm of fire, and warned the people of the town to light lanterns throughout the town on the appointed day. The towns people did as they were told, and from the Heavens, it looked as if the whole village was on fire. Satisfied that his goose had already been avenged, the Jade Emperor decided not to burn the town. From that day on, people celebrated the anniversary of their deliverance by carried lanterns of different shapes and colors through the streets on the first full moon of the year.

When you go out in the streets, red lanterns are everywhere and fireworks are going off again.

This is Xu Huan Huan

Her name sounds like ( Shoe Hwan Hwan ).

XHH is a China orphan along with her older sister Xu Ling. She came to the orphanage about a year or so after it was open. I am not sure how their parents died but they were orphans. The welfare department asked if we would take them in and w did. She was just about to start the first grade when they came. What a little cutie she was and still is. When she talked, she would peep like a bird. So faint you could hardly hear her. Now she is in the eighth grade. XHH is very intelligent and does well in school. It takes about $800 a year to care for her and pay her school fees.

Poor Chinese boy becomes a man

This is a story about Peng Peng ( Pung Pung), a poor Chinese boy who became a man.

In the summer of 2000 my wife Joy and I heard from a group of reporters in Kai Fa Qu China, that there was a very poor man and his son living in the mountains of the Zhan He area in the Liao Ming Province. These reporters cried as they talked about this man and his son. The man�s wife had left him after he had a stroke and it was just him and his son Peng Peng. We wanted to meet them so one of the reporters took us up there and we met the man and his son. The man was paralyzed on one side and couldn�t work. They had no food and the house they lived in, had no windows but plastic over the window openings. It was freezing outside and the river near by was frozen. The floor was just dirt.

Peng Peng was about 7 years old and was caring for his father. He gathered wood in the freezing cold for his neighbors to make a little money and he washed his father�s cloths in the freezing river. He also walked 5 miles back and forth to school. When we visited them, we took them some rice and oil and told them we were going to open an orphanage soon and we would hire him to be a guard or something. The man cried as he needed some help.

In about a month we returned to get the man and his son. We noticed he wasn�t limping any more. He had regained his strength on his paralyzed side since we had seen him last. We offered him the job of cooking for the 16 Chinese orphans we had gathered. We paid for Peng Peng�s school and he fit in along with the other kids. He did well in School and they lived there about two years. His father decided to leave one day and took Peng Peng with him.

We didn�t see him for a few years and he called and said his father had died and he was working in a bread company. A few years later he called and wanted to join the army and ask if we could help him pay the entrance fee. We gave him the amount and he joined the army. He just got out of the army and called Joy and he still calls her grandma. He came to visit Joy and all the kids. He is a man now and will have no trouble getting a job as the Chinese treat their solders well.

Chinese New Years

Chinese New Years with our China Orphans

Joy and I have lived in China since August 1995 and have seen many Chinese New Years Come and go. It has been special these last 8 years as we have enjoyed it with the Chinese orphans we support and care for.

Travel: This year, Jan 26 is Chinese New Year. Millions of people travel during this time by bus and train. The train stations are packed and people try to buy tickets days ahead of time. Some can't even get tickets. Many have to stand in the isle for hours or days to get home. It is very important for them to go home and be with family.

To Chinese It is there most important holiday. But Christians consider the holiday second after Christmas. It is similar to Christmas as the family gathers and has good food. Every year the kids at the orphanage along with my wife Joy make Jiaozi or dumplings. It is a tradition. It usually has pork, cabbage, vegetable and spices. They are very delicious. They boil them in water and you dip them in soy sauce with garlic. Other good foods are enjoyed such as tangerines, fruits and different snacks. Then they watch special Chinese shows with singing and comedy. They are glued to the TV.

Fire works:
I have never seen such fireworks as they have on Chinese New Years. The fireworks they use would blow a hand right off. It sounds like a bombing during a war and is constant for hours. All the cars alarms are going off. You can�t even hear a friend talk next to you. If you live on the 6th floor as many do, it sounds like the windows will blow out.
The next morning you can go out and red paper from the fireworks cover the streets and everything. It is very interesting. People spend a lot of money for fireworks.

Don't Fall for those Credit Repair Scams

Are you looking to repair your Credit? Don't fall prey to Credit Repair Scams on the internet. According to the FTC who enforces the Fair Credit Reporting Act, it is illegal to remove accurate data from your credit report. Collections, charge-offs and late pays will remain on your report for seven years, bankruptcies 10 to 12 years.

Boy, are you screwed! Just dig a hole and climb in and bury yourself!

The truth is that although the statement above is true, what about the laws that protect the consumer that requires the credit reporting agencies to verify the information they report? What is there process for verification? Is it verified just because the collection company say's you owe the money? What if you really owe the debt and the third collection company that bought your debt for pennies on the dollar can't verify that you owe the debt? Is it OK for them to continue to report it?

There seems to be a lot of information available that say's you can't clean-up (Opp�s, I forgot, clean your credit is a bad word) let�s re-phrase that, Credit Repair and Credit Restoration. That�s better; let's talk about �Credit Repair and Credit Restoration�.

Credit Repair and Credit Restoration is a process that involves the following;

If a customer has information on there credit reports and it can�t be verified then the credit reporting agencies must remove it, whether it belongs to you or not, PERIOD!

This is the premise that most credit repair companies work under. They know that the credit reporting agencies and the collection agencies have not done what they are being paid (billions of dollars a year) to do. They know if the Fair Credit Reporting Act law are applied correctly in the dispute process that the chances are that information will be deleted whether it is accurate or not. Is this wrong or immoral? The question needs to be is OK for the credit reporting agencies to report unverifiable information. With the profits the credit reporting agencies make each year you would think they could implement a process that provides accurate reporting

Credit Education

Credit Education is one of the most lessons we can provide to our children. It amazes me that to this day our children are not taught the importance of credit in our school systems. Many of us as adults had to learn the hard way the importance of credit and maintaining a good credit score.

In America our financial success or lack of can in many cases can be contributed directly to our credit profile. I have been in the financial industry for the last 8 years and it amazes me how little people understand or know about the credit industry. It almost makes me wonder that if someone has good credit are they just lucky? It certainly wasn�t because they new how the credit industry works. If some had bad credit were they just unlucky?

I realize there are many reasons for a person to have bad credit; loss of a job, medical issues (with no insurance), divorce, and the list goes on and on. But in some case credit education may have helped the situation.

The bottom line is that I have seen so many good people be denied the opportunity to achieve a higher degree of financial success do to a lack of credit education. Something has to be done to educate or the youth in this country to try to prevent them from having the same financial struggles we may have had or are currently experiencing do to a lack of financial and credit education. I believe that it starts at home. When I was growing up in the 60's and 70's, finances and credit scores where not a topic of discussion around the dinner table. I had to learn the hard way.

Today things have changed as far as the types of things that can be discussed with your children. Kids today are a lot more aware of or are exposed to a lot more things thru the media. I don�t believe it is a good idea to shelter our children from these types of topics. Teaching our children the importance of credit and financial responsibility is one of the most important things we can teach our children.

Our school systems as well need to help by offering if not making mandatory some type of classes that deal specifically with the credit industry, credit or personal finance.

If you are experiencing credit or financial problems it has to be a family effort to help resolve the situation. If not, what ever you are doing well not work. All parties, wife, husband and children need to understand that there has to be a change in the way finances are being handled so that credit rating can be restored to a level that will make life easier for everyone. By including all family members then perhaps this will help everyone to learn and understand the importance of credit and personal finances.

Experian and Equifax Increase Cost of Credit Reports

Two of the big three Experian and Equifax have decided that there billion dollar a year corporations need more profit margin. Starting in 2007 the Big Two (Experian and Equifax) have decided that charging once for a credit pull when a client applies for a home loan is not enough.

The normal process for an applicant applying for a home loan was to have there credit pulled by the mortgage broker then the file would be submitted to for an approval with a national lender. The lender would than in many cases re-issue the credit on there end to verify the report. The cost for re issuing the credit will now be somewhere from $8.00 to as much as $200.00 to have the report re issued and will be passed on to the broker which ultimately will be passed on to the consumer.

In a case where you have a marginal borrower do to credit rating where you may have to shop the loan to multiple lenders this could be a cost issue that will limit the possibility of either the consumer getting the best possible loan program or knocking them right out of the market place.

Equifax according to CCNMoney.com had total revenues of 1,443.4 Billion in 2006 and Experian came in at 3.1 Billon. With this type of profits one must wonder when enough is enough, especially in a market place that is already struggling with lender increasing underwriting guild lines and the subprime market in trouble.

Unfortunately, once again the most effected will the consumers with margin credit. The only ones that stand to gain from this new price increase are Experian and Equifax.

Mortgages News and Credit Repair

The lenders today have upped the ante on getting a home loan. Recent events on in the hosing market and on Wall Street, have caused the national lenders to take a hard look at there underwriting guild lines and whether or not there guild lines will satisfy there investors.

A recent report by the CRL (Center for Responsible Lending) (www.responsiblelending.org/issues/mortgage/reports/page.jsp?itemID=31214551) states that 2.2 million borrowers face foreclosure on subprime home loans. This translates to $164 billion due to foreclosure in the subprime mortgage market. CRL report also stated that 1 out of 5 subprime loans written in 2005 thru 2006 will fail.

With this type of prediction being made it is not surprising that a lot of subprime lenders are now increasing there requirements for subprime loans. Increased credit score requirements as well as changes to the types of loan programs that will be available.

Credit Repair and Credit Education will be the key for new first time home owners that are coming into the market place that have had credit issues in the past. It wasn't that long ago when a borrower with a 580 credit score, no reserves, some late pays and no rental history could get approved for a 100% financing with out any problem. Today underwriters are scrutinizing these types of files and although this type of borrower may today still be able to go to a limited number of lenders and get approved the chances are that 3 months from now it most likely will not be the case.

The ideal borrower in the near future will have a minimum credit score of approximately 620 with a credit profile for the last 6 months to a year.

What can we do to help - Lenders and Real estate agents need to get ahead of the curve when working with potential buyers. Credit seminars to educate borrowers are greatly needed. Get the people that want to buy and that have credit issues into a good credit repair program that offers credit education as well.

The current trend has been for a long time real estate agent find interested borrowers who are now scurrying to find a loan with no prep time for credit issues or credit education. It is not the real estate community fault, I have found in many case borrowers are not willing to to attend an educational forum to learn about the impact of credit do to other obligations. The truth of the matter is this could be the most important obligation they could make.

I went Everywhere, reading up on Everything- It didn't take me long to figure out that a person could make a Good LIving on the internet-- I figured I could get the all the Info rite her on the 'Net So I started downloading every eBook of Marketing Tool I could find, And started looking for good Affliate Programs to join, I joined several programs over the course of the next several yrs... I got my first massage back in 1983 after running a 10K race. A massage therapist approached me after the race and asked if I would like to have a massage. I said: �sure.� I didn�t know what to expect. Until that moment no one touched me accept my mother in my youth and my girlfriend who became my wife. My wife and I knew nothing about massage and massage techniques. We knew nothing about Effleurage, Swedish, or Deep Tissue massage. Nothing about its benefits of eliminating toxins from the tissues and the cells. Nothing about how massage reduces stress and tension. Nor how massage soothes the circulatory system and reduces high blood pressure. We knew nothing about the healing properties of a therapeutic massage treatment or acupressure points. More importantly, we knew nothing about how massage therapy along with Aroma Therapy � reduces pain, swelling, and aids in healing the body of mental, emotional, and physical trauma.

Little did we know how this one treatment � my first massage treatment - would change my life forever! When I was finished with my first massage treatment I was a changed man! My body was more relaxed than I could ever remember being in my life! I felt refreshed, and more alive, and spiritually revitalized! I asked myself �why hasn�t someone told me about getting a massage before?! Why haven�t I met a therapist before?�

Well, now, I am looking for a massage therapist at every track event. Now I am getting them about once or twice a month. What amazes me is the massages were all non-sexual but were as satisfying in its own way: soothing and relaxing my body, calming my emotions and thoughts, and exiting a spiritual well-being of indescribable dimensions.

A few years later, in 1986 I met a new friend who spotted me in my first Marathon run. After I crossed the finish line and took some liquids to cool down, she asks me if I would like to be a student in her massage class. I said �yes!� � This became the second event to change my life. During the Fall of 1989 I graduated from Massage School became a licensed and insured massage therapist working in a health and fitness club in Detroit.

I love giving massages just as much as I love receiving them. I belie everyone should have the experience of having a massage treatment given by a licensed massage specialist. It can make a profound difference in your life!

Lets Talk about Advertising

This isn�t about volleyball or sandy beaches, but it is about something that will make those other things possible. To be able to truly enjoy that freedom to travel to the beautiful beaches of the world, and to be able to play volleyball is all of the exotic vacation spots available around the globe, you have to have the green� And I don�t mean grass.

Personally, I have worked all my life very hard trying to squeak out a living in a number of occupations. I was always very good at what I did, but it seemed that I was always making someone else rich off my labor, and I was just barely getting by. Recently, I decided to change that and started searching for a business that I could do, that would make me happy, make me money(and a lot of it), and give me the freedom I deserve, to travel and enjoy life.

I found it, and I am working it, and now I am beginning to live the dream. I�m developing a team of like minded individuals, and we will all be out playing on the beautiful beaches of the world, together. Now, the one thing that is needed in any endeavor, whether online or off, is advertising. And, advertising can be extremely costly, and can scare many people away from this type of life / business.

BUT, and that is a BIG BUT, Have you seen how much free advertising is actually available to you?

I imagine that most people see free advertising as virtually impossible to get or useless if you could get it. But, the reality is, there are many ways to advertise free and a lot more ways to advertise for next to nothing. Actually, I believe the best source of promotion for your business, and I don�t care what your business may be, is a company called Veretekk. They are, bar none, the finest advertising and promotional system available on the internet, IMHO� They aren�t free, but for what you get compared to what they charge, it is like being free.

If you want to advertise, you can write articles related to your field of expertise that can be submitted to media and publications in that particular field. I always try to advertise my online travel business through every means possible, especially free advertising.

As your business gains some recognition, you will also gain popularity across the web. This popularity can lead to being invited on radio and internet talk shows or possibly interviews in web conferences on topics of interest to you that relate to their individual businesses. If this type of recognition is slow in coming, you can contact the hosts or moderators of the programs that you are interested in. Discuss your feelings on various topics, and try to schedule a time that you can share your views with the general public.

There are free bulletin boards located throughout every neighborhood, in common places like grocery stores, libraries, and salons. These are a great source of free adverting with unlimited Free Traffic. Advertising circulars can be posted on these boards. Circulars can also be handed out at the mall, shopping centers, bus stops, etc. Anywhere that there are people, you have a free advertising opportunity.

There are free offers that can be provided to the customers as an enticement to listen to what you have to say or for reading what you have written. Many free opportunities exist out there for you to provide premium offers just for participation. The basic ingredient for advertising for free is imagination and research. Opportunities abound, for those bold enough and tenacious enough to seek them out and put them to use.

In Fact, you can even get Free Webpages to promote your business, to use as long as you like, without ever having to pay a penny.

No Sand ... Just Volleyball
No Sand . . . Just Volleyball
Well, it wasn't on a sand court, but it was definitely volleyball. At least it was the beginnings of volleyball, with a group of 10 year olds in their first year of playing.
My fianc�s youngest daughter became part of a team with a few of her friends from their school, and a few others from a couple other grade schools in the area. They got together Nofor the first time about 3 weeks ago, and that was a sight to see�
Now, with 3 practices behind them and today being their second set of games(and winning 3 out of 4 I might add), they show real promise out there. Still tentative about getting hit in the face with the ball, by the looks of it, these girls are doing amazingly well.
I can still remember back to my first game� I dodged more balls then I returned. But, it didn�t take me long to realize it was more fun to go after the ball, no matter what, then it was to be avoiding it. Besides that, my teammates appreciated it much more as well. That was about 15 or 16 years ago. I would venture to guess that I�ve played in at least 2000 or more games since then.
My body is apparently older then my brain (as it is with most guys I'm told...), and since I haven't played in several years, I question whether I am still able. But, the fact is, I want to be out there playing, not necessarily with 10 year olds, but just In The Game. I've never played on a hard court, and with what used to be my playing style, I'm thinking that I might get hurt if I tried it. Diving for the ball and doing head crashes or full body splashes, is (I�m assuming) much easier to do in the sand.
My fianc�(Brenda) and I are going to start doing some traveling later this year, beginning with a visit to some sandy beaches, either in Hawaii or in the Bahamas. Actually, the plan is to get married at whichever one we visit first. But then the second order of business will be to find a volleyball game on the beach, to see if I can survive it.
Thanks to our new Travel Business, we are going to be able to test out all sorts of vacation spots around the globe, and I decided to share the experience with everyone that has the desire to travel, but just hasn�t gotten there yet.
I�ll tell you up front, if you are reading this, and have been to any fantastic places, I�d like to hear about them. Chances are we will be able to go check them out ourselves over the next several months. So, post your experiences, likes and dislikes about your travel locations, and let us know why you feel the way you do. I think it would be great to read about the experience, and then be able to live the ones that sound the best.
Until then, we look forward to hearing about the best places to visit, especially if there is volleyball there� LOL. Actually, I am looking for the volleyball, and Brenda, not being a volleyball player, is looking for the sun and the sand.
We are both just happy to be able to finally travel and experience all the places and things that we have only been able to dream about up until now.
